About Exhibit A

Built by a trader,
not a course seller.

Exhibit A wasn't designed from the outside looking in. It was built from inside seven years of getting it wrong, getting it right, losing, and working out what actually changes a trader. This is that story.

Martin, founder of Exhibit A
Hi, I'm Martin

Seven years in the markets. Every high, and every blow-up.

I've been trading for over seven and a half years — long enough to have found consistency, lost my capital, and rebuilt from what the wins and the mistakes were actually telling me. I built Exhibit A because the tool I needed to make sense of all of it simply didn't exist. So here's the honest version of how I got here.

Your account statement remembers every trade perfectly. Your brain doesn't. Exhibit A closes that gap.

01The path I was sold

I did everything the traditional route asks of you. The top grades at school, the good university, the graduate scheme, and then the first step onto the corporate ladder with the promise that if you climbed long enough, you'd arrive somewhere worth arriving at. Somewhere partway up, the maths stopped adding up. The salary on offer — even a good one — was never going to build the life I wanted for me and my family. It was a comfortable version of standing still.

Trading was the one thing I genuinely enjoyed, and the one thing that offered a different answer: real freedom, and the chance to actually provide the life I had in mind rather than the one I'd been handed a brochure for. So I took it seriously. Probably more seriously than was healthy, for a while.

02Where it really started

Like most people, I started on my own. BabyPips, forums, screenshots, and a lot of confidence I hadn't earned. If I'm honest with myself, I wasn't trading — I was gambling. I thought the whole game was clicking a button at the right moment and watching the money arrive. It took longer than I'd like to admit to realise there is so much more to this than being right on a chart.

03The industry nobody warns you about

The deeper I went, the more I saw how toxic this space can be. The scammers, the fake screenshots, the rented lifestyles, the endless funnels selling a dream. I questioned it constantly: is it even possible to actually make money here, or is the whole thing a pyramid built to sell to the masses? The uncomfortable answer is that a lot of it, yes, is exactly that. But not all of it. There are genuinely successful, genuinely wealthy traders in this space — quiet, disciplined, and nothing like the marketing. That's what kept me in.

04Falcon, and the real breakthrough

Around seven years ago I joined Falcon, where I've been ever since. That's where the real education happened — not a magic strategy, but the two things almost nobody sells you. First, mindset: the way you think is, in the end, the way you behave and the way you trade. Understanding my own personality changed more about my results than any indicator ever did. Second, and just as important, the data: the common themes and patterns that live not only in my head, but in the trades I actually executed. I broke through to consistency. Then I lost my capital. Both of those taught me the same lesson from opposite directions — that the edge is in seeing yourself clearly.

05Why I built Exhibit A

Over those seven years I kept refining a way of reviewing that actually worked, and eventually turned it into the platform I'd always wanted. It had to be user-friendly first — because a journal you abandon after two weeks is worth nothing. It had to surface the mistrades, the setups I talked myself out of, which are every bit as important as the trades I took. And it had to dig into the mindset behind each trade: the emotional tags like greed, fear and hesitation that sound like clichés right up until you see how much they're quietly costing you.

Because that's the hard part. It's very easy to believe you're disciplined, patient, unemotional. In reality you often aren't, and the only way to know is to get down into the granular, almost subconscious layer of why you did what you did. That's what this platform is built to do.

What I never wanted was to become another course seller — someone monetising the dream instead of the craft. I wanted to build something that gives traders real value: an honest mirror, not a highlight reel.

🧠

Mindset and data, together

The two things that actually changed my trading — how I think, and what the numbers say — finally in one place instead of scattered across tabs.

🎯

The trades you missed count

The setups you talked yourself out of are as important as the ones you took. Exhibit A makes that hesitation visible, and measurable.

🔍

An honest mirror

Emotional tags, patterns and evidence — so you see how you really trade, not the disciplined version you remember being.

🕊️

Real value, not a funnel

No courses, no rented lifestyle, no upsell. One honest price, private by default — your data is never the product.

From the founder

I built Exhibit A because for years I was the bottleneck in my own improvement. I knew reviewing my trades honestly was the thing that mattered most, and I still couldn't make myself do it — the record was scattered, the tools felt like admin, and the true picture of my trading was always just out of reach.

So I built the platform I actually wanted: one place that holds every trade, shows me the ones I let slip, sizes my next position, and hands it all back to me as evidence I can learn from — quickly, and without the noise. If it helps even a few traders review more honestly and lose a little less to their own habits, it's done its job.

It's early, and it's improving fast. If you try it and something's missing, tell me — I read everything.

06Where it's going

Exhibit A is one plan at £19 a month, with a 14-day free trial, and it keeps being built out in the open. The direction is steady: make the honest review effortless, bring your trades in with as little friction as possible, and let an AI coach that reads your own history point out the patterns you can't see from the inside. It's the tool I wished existed for seven years — and it gets a little closer every week.
